Second giveaway, folks!
For most of us, there has been a book that grabbed us by our throats and didn't let go. There were some books that made that grade this year, but if I had to pick one, it would be "Home Front" by Kristin Hannah. The story of Michael and Jolene, whom have had trouble in their marriage gets worse when Jolene is deployed to Iraq. Michael has to raise his two daughters by himself and when tragedy strikes, he and Jolene have to fight their own war in order to save their family. I loved reading this book (and Kristin's others as well) because she has the ability to jerk your heartstrings and leave an impression with each story.
